Nigeria Records 328 New Sases,Total Now 11,844

On Friday, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control said 328 new cases were reported, pushing the total cases 11,844.

There were 10 new deaths, pushing the total deaths to 333.

Also, 161 persons were discharged from different isolation centres, pushing the total number of persons discharged to 3,696.

Two months old, mother test positive in Delta

In Delta State, a mother and her two months old baby have tested positive for COVID-19.

The state Commissioner for Health, Dr Mordi Ononye, who disclosed this on Friday, noted that both the baby and mother were responding to treatment at the isolation centre.

The Commissioner for Information, Mr Charles Aniagwu, lamented the rising cases in the state due to the violation of guidelines.
