The National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, Price Uche Secondus, has said that Governors elected on the platform of the party, across the country, had laid a solid foundation for democracy in Nigeria, than their counterparts in the ruling All Progressives Congress.

According to the leading opposition party’s helmsman, the PDP Governors, have sustained the nation’s democracy with their style of governance, urging the APC Governors to emulate the former.

Prince Secondus stated this during the Grand Finale of PDP LGA Mega Campaign Rally at the Pa Oruta Ngele Township Stadium, Abakaliki, on Thursday, saying “Everywhere you go to, the PDP Governors are working wonders.”

The PDP National boss said, “”The PDP Governors have laid a solid foundation for democracy in Nigeria, unlike their APC counterparts. Ebonyi State is a good example and all our PDP-controlled states and Governors are good example.

“I want to ask the Federal Government and all the other states that are not controlled by PDP, to go to Ebonyi State and all the other states that are controlled by the PDP, to learn how to govern. This is because we are the best in the country.

“The peace of democracy that we are enjoying in Nigeria today, is because PDP Governors have sustained democracy in Nigeria. PDP Governors and PDP controlled states have sustained democracy in Nigeria.

“We want to ask both the Federal Government and other states to emulate the Government and good people of Ebonyi State and the other PDP Governors, who are doing well.”

Secondus added, “If you go to Rivers State, where I come from, you can see flyovers being constructed by Julius Bergers; if you go to Ebonyi State, you will see flyovers. If you go to Akwa Ibom, you can see flyovers. And if you go to Taraba State, you can see wonders and if you go to Adamawa State, you can see what the Governor, is doing there.

“How will I name them? In all the PDP states, you can see what God is doing. We are proud of our Governors; we are proud of their good works, and of a truth, they have given their people dividends of democracy.”
