Azman, Ibom airlines resume flight operations after picketing

Azman Air and Ibom Air have announced the resumption of flight operations at the Murtala Mohammed Airports Terminal two, Lagos.

The airlines had issued a notice on Tuesday alerting their passengers of flight disruption due to the demonstration by the Aviation Transport Service Senior Staff of Nigeria protesting against the dismissal of 37 workers by the Bi-Courtney Aviation Services Limited.

But in a piece of travel advice,  Azman Air said, ”This is to inform all out esteemed passengers departing Lagos that normalcy has been restored at the Murtala Mohammed Airport Domestic Terminal two.

“In lieu of this, all our operations will resume at the terminal accordingly.

“We sincerely appreciate your understanding during the picketing at the terminal and we are confident the situation has been handled with no hope of reoccurring.”

In the same vein, Ibom Air also informed passengers departing from Lagos that normalcy had been restored at the MMA2, noting that flights scheduled for November 2,2022 would operate.

The notice read, ”We are pleased to announce our flight resumption at MMA2 Lagos, therefore our flights from November 2, 2022 will operate per schedule into and from MMA2 Lagos.
