Mr Peter Obi, former Governor of Anambra State and Labour Party presidential candidate in the 2023 general elections, and Mr Frank Nweke Jr., former Information Minister, have urged Nigerian youths to adopt constructive measures to realize the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG).

They noted that actions taken by the youths now will aid in the actualization and achievement of the United Nations SDGs by 2030.

The duo gave the advice during the “Shaping the Future Conference” organised by the Boys Champion (BC) Foundation in Enugu with the theme, “Accelerating Actions to Achieving Sustainable Development Goals in Nigeria Through Entrepreneurship and Civic Engagement.”

Speaking at the occasion, Obi said the government must take pride in its youths by giving them the essential opportunity to develop.

The former Labour Party Presidential Candidate for the 2023 General Elections also said youths must stand up and question those who stole their future, adding that few people who held the youths hostage, were successful because the youths pretended that nothing was happening.

He charged them to hold their leaders accountable, saying they continue to steal because youths permit it.
