Pay more attention to health, education, TUC tells Diri

Bayelsa Governor, Douye DiriThe Chairman of Trade Union Congress in Bayelsa State, Julius Laye, has called on the Governor DouyeDiri-led government to do more in spite of its achievements in several sectors of the economy.

Laye particularly mentioned the ongoing construction of roads, the acquisition of two aircrafts, gas turbines, construction of the nine-storey state secretariat building and offsetting of gratuities to retired local council workers amongst others.

But, he said the government should employ staff in the health sector to replace retiring staff otherwise, a situation would arise where there would be no staff to handle the facilities.

His words: “For me, I’m interested in the area that affects us even though I know that roads construction are going on. We have also been told that two carriers are coming in and then the gas turbines.

“So, in addition to those ones, just close to my window, the nine storey secretariat building is ongoing, salaries are paid as at when due and local government gratuities have been offset.

“They have offset that one and we are working towards seeing that of the state own too, which initially was N27 billion, and now has come down to N12 billion.

“So, after these areas, I will also emphasise that more attention should be paid to education and health, even though they are doing well in those areas.

“Civil Service Commission has employed, Post Primary Schools Board has employed, but I think that Hospitals Management Board has not employed for long.

“I talked with the commissioner that you have people retiring every month and every year, so if you don’t replace them, you have the facilities and the workforce is not there, you might not have the end result.

“So, with those ones, I will say fair enough, but more needs to be done.”

When reached for comment, the Assistant Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress in Bayelsa State, Mr. Zuokumor said he would not want to say anything on the issue.

Zuokumor said: “I wouldn’t want to delve into that right now.”

The State Chairman of the Nigerian Labour Congress in Bayelsa State, Comrade Barnabas Simon could not be reached for comment as he did not pick his calls.

Alleged scam: Lawyer demands trial of Deputy VC, bank MD

The Lead Counsel at the O.A. Omotayo& Associates, Olu Omotayo, has called for the prosecution of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor of Madonna University, Elele, Prof. Martin Anagboso; Managing Director of Mayfresh Mortgage Bank, Aba, Abia State, Mr Mark Egbegolu; Rev. Sisters Annette Ezekwem and Getrude Okafor (who are personnel of the Madonna University).

South-East PUNCH gathered that the suspects were arrested a few months ago by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission over allegations bordering on fraudulent meddling of shareholders’ names and dates of birth, allegedly to evade payment of the sum of N1.2bn loan obtained in 2020.

In a letter dated October 2nd, 2025 and addressed to the National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu, a copy of which was obtained by our correspondent in Abakiliki, Ebonyi State on Monday, the Enugu-based legal luminary observed that since the investigation has been completed on the matter, it was expedient for the suspects to be prosecuted and arraigned in court.

The letter read, “We write to you in respect of the above-mentioned matter on behalf our clients, namely, Arch John-Paul Edeh, and Mrs. Maria Goretti Omego, to demand the immediate prosecution of Professor Martin Anagboso, the principal suspect in the alteration of shares of majority shareholders of Mayfresh Mortgage Bank Limited at the Corporate Affairs Commission.

“The arrest of the principal suspect was sequel to the directive by the National Security Adviser, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, to the Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, to investigate the criminal alteration of the record of the Bank at the Corporate Affairs Commission.

“The principal suspect, Professor Martin Anagboso, is the Deputy Vice Chancellor of Madonna University, which created a debenture in favour of Mayfresh Mortgage Bank Limited to secure a N1.2 Billion loan in 2020. In a bid not to repay the loan obtained from the bank, the principal suspect, in connivance with some persons, altered the record of shareholdings of majority shareholders of the bank at the Corporate Affairs Commission, to silence the vocal shareholders who were demanding the repayment of the loan facility granted to Madonna University.”

It added, “This action of the suspect and his collaborators in altering records at a National Institution like the Corporate Affairs Commission is an act of Economic Terrorism against our clients and the Nigerian State, which should not be allowed to go unpunished.

“We submit that since the investigation has been completed in this matter, we demand the immediate prosecution of Professor Martin Anagboso (who we were informed is planning to abscond outside the country) and his accomplices.

“As a serious country ready to restore the confidence of investors, this case should not be swept under the carpet or compounded. The principal suspect and his cohorts should be made to face the full wrath of the law and charged to court forthwith.”

Alumni body fears varsities shutdown as ASUU insists on strike

Association of Nigerian Universities AlumniThe Association of Nigerian Universities Alumni has warned of an impending crisis across the nation’s universities, urging the Federal Government to act swiftly to avert another disruptive strike by university-based unions.

In a statement issued after its Special Bi-Annual Delegates Conference held from October 1–4 at Sa’adu Zungur University, Bauchi, the association said the government must prioritise dialogue and address long-standing issues threatening the stability of the academic calendar.

The conference, which drew delegates from 36 member associations across the six geopolitical zones, also called for an amendment to Nigerian university laws to grant statutory representation to alumni presidents on university governing councils.

ANUA National President, Prof. Yakubu Ochefu, said the current situation demanded urgent attention.

“Nigeria’s academic calendar cannot afford another disruption,” Ochefu said. “We call on the Federal Government to prioritise negotiations with university-based unions and ensure lasting peace in the sector.”

The alumni body stressed that the Federal Government must engage university unions proactively and comprehensively to guarantee an uninterrupted academic calendar, which it described as “non-negotiable for national progress.”

It added that including alumni presidents on university governing councils would ensure that “alumni experience is formally integrated into university decision-making processes.”

Meanwhile, the Academic Staff Union of Universities  has reaffirmed its resolve to embark on a two-week warning strike starting October 13 if the Federal Government fails to address its outstanding demands.

ASUU’s position was contained in a strike bulletin and reiterated by its National President, Prof. Chris Piwuna, on Monday during an Orientation and Leadership Training at the Niger Delta University, Amassoma, Bayelsa State.

“The warning strike has been issued, and we are not meeting to discuss it again as a union because our position has been taken,” Piwuna said. “By midnight of Monday, we will embark on a two-week warning strike, after which we will meet to decide when to begin an indefinite and comprehensive action.”

He said the decision followed the government’s failure to implement the renegotiated 2009 ASUU-FGN Agreement and to respond meaningfully to other unresolved issues despite multiple ultimatums.

“The issues remain the same; the re-negotiation of our 2009 documents is still lingering after years of promises,” he said. “We have given government enough time. They even asked for three weeks to get back to us and never did.”

On the Nigerian Education Loan Fund, Piwuna faulted the student loan policy, arguing that it was impractical in the current economic climate.

“We have told the government that we do not support loans in such a depressed economy,” he said. “Families can’t feed, unemployment is high; where do they expect repayment to come from? If they truly want to support education, they should give grants, not loans.”

He criticised reports that NELFUND had spent N14bn on personnel within a year despite having fewer than 100 staff.

“Some of these reports make us believe we are right,” he added. “A university with over 1,000 staff doesn’t spend that much in a year, including on buildings.”

ASUU National Financial Secretary,  Happiness Uduk, urged members to uphold the union’s values of integrity, transparency, and accountability.

The Vice Chancellor of the Federal University of Petroleum Resources, Delta State, Prof. Ezekiel Agbalagba, speaking on ‘Understanding the Dynamics of ASUU and University Administration’, called for deeper collaboration among members to strengthen university governance.

Also speaking, the Vice Chancellor of Niger Delta University, Prof. Allen Agih, commended ASUU for its consistency and urged that such training workshops be held more frequently.

Earlier, the ASUU NDU Branch Chairman, Lucky Bebeteidoh, thanked the national leadership for its presence and reaffirmed members’ commitment to the union’s collective struggle.

ICYMI: Innovation minister Nnaji resigns amid allegations

Uche NnajiThe Minister of Innovation, Science, and Technology, Geoffrey Nnaji, has resigned from President Bola Tinubu’s cabinet amid controversies surrounding his academic records and allegations of certificate forgery.

Nnaji, who was appointed in August 2023, announced his resignation in a letter to the President on Tuesday, expressing appreciation for the opportunity to serve.

Confirming the development in a statement on Tuesday, the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, said, “President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has accepted the resignation of Geoffrey Uche Nnaji, the Minister of Innovation, Science, and Technology, following some allegations against him. President Tinubu appointed Nnaji in August 2023.

“He resigned today in a letter thanking the President for allowing him to serve Nigeria. Nnaji said he has been a target of blackmail by political opponents. President Tinubu thanked him for his service and wished him well in future endeavours.”

Nnaji’s resignation comes amid a lingering controversy over alleged certificate forgery and questions surrounding his academic qualifications from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka.

Nnaji and the Enugu State Government had traded words over allegations that he presented forged certificates.

The dispute intensified after the Federal High Court in Enugu rejected Nnaji’s bid to stop the University of Nigeria from releasing his academic records.

The court had ruled that the institution was within its rights to release the minister’s academic details in response to a freedom of information request, a decision that fuelled further public scrutiny.

Nnaji, however, maintained that he was being blackmailed by political opponents determined to tarnish his reputation.

SSANU, NASU mobilise for Thursday protest

SSANU and NASUThe Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities and the Non-Academic Staff Union of Educational and Associated Institutions have declared a one-day protest for Thursday over the Federal Government’s failure to meet their demands.

Acting under the Joint Action Committee, both unions have directed all their branches to hold joint emergency meetings on Wednesday to mobilise members for protest activities.

These will include marches on campuses, placard displays, and press briefings.

The decision followed a comprehensive review of government actions at JAC’s meeting on October 6, after several ultimatums had expired without resolution.

Among the contentious issues are the alleged inequitable disbursement of the N50bn earned allowances; delays in renegotiating the 2009 FGN/NASU/SSANU agreements; non-payment of two months’ outstanding salaries; arrears of 25 and 35 per cent salary increments; and non-remittance of third-party deductions for May and June 2022.

JAC had earlier issued a seven-day ultimatum to the government on September 15, later extending it by another 14 days — which expired on Monday, October 6.

In a circular dated October 6 and titled “Commencement of Protest Actions”, signed by NASU General Secretary, Prince Peters Adeyemi, and SSANU National President, Comrade Mohammed Ibrahim, the unions directed full participation by all members.

The memo read in part, “Following the inauguration of the Joint Consultative Committee by the Honourable Minister of Education to look into the demands of JAC of NASU & SSANU, the committee met twice — on Friday, 19th September 2025, and Monday, 6th October 2025 — with little progress, as our demands remain unresolved despite the extension of the ultimatum.

“In light of this development, the National JAC hereby directs branch leadership in universities and inter-university centres nationwide to convene a joint congress on Wednesday, 8th October 2025, to mobilise for a massive and effective one-day protest on Thursday, 9th October 2025.”

It added that all members in both federal and state-owned universities “are expected to strictly comply with this directive,” stressing that unity and adherence were essential for success.

SSANU President, Mohammed Ibrahim, recently accused the government of insincerity, warning that the unions could declare an indefinite strike if their demands remain unmet.

“Ours will not be the ‘mother of all strikes’; it will be the grandfather of all strikes,” Ibrahim said. “When SSANU or NASU strikes, you know what it means. We must take our destinies in our hands.”

He lamented the poor welfare of non-academic staff in universities, describing them as “the worst hit financially, economically, and psychologically.”

Like the Academic Staff Union of Universities, both SSANU and NASU have been at loggerheads with the Federal Government over staff welfare and funding issues.

Alleged certificate forgery: Nnaji should be suspended, probed – Lawyer

Human rights lawyer, Inibehe Effiong, has urged the Nigeria police to probe the Minister of Science, Technology, and Innovation, Uche Nnaji, over allegations of certificate forgery.

Effiong made this call on Monday, while responding to questions in an interview on ‘Politics Today’, a programme on Channels Television.

He stated that the inconsistencies in the minister’s academic records and the conflicting statements from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, UNN, and the minister himself required urgent attention.

The lawyer expressed shock that such alleged irregularities escaped scrutiny during Nnaji’s screening before appointment.

“How did all these things escape the scrutiny of the Nigerian State Security Service?

“As I speak to you, the State Security Service has maintained a conspiratorial silence. It is a conspiracy,” he added.

The human rights activist described the allegations as “grave” and urged President Bola Tinubu to suspend Nnaji pending investigation.

“This minister must be immediately suspended pending the conclusion of the investigation.

“He has to surrender himself to the police for investigation for forgery; otherwise, they will be telling Nigerians that we are running a government of certificate forgers and criminality,” he added.

Gbajabiamila organises free health check for Lagos community

Femi GbajabiamilaThe Chief of Staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila, on Monday, facilitated free medical outreach at Agboyi Ori Omi, a remote riverine community in the Agboyi-Ketu Local Council Development Area of Lagos State.

The News Agency of Nigeria reports that the outreach was organised in collaboration with the Lagos State Health District 2 and the Taiwan Root Medical Peace Corps.

Some of the services provided include oral health checks and treatment, blood pressure checks, screening for TB, eye screening, blood sugar checks, HIV testing and counselling, and treatment of minor ailments.

The beneficiaries also got free glasses and free medication.
Gbajabiamila, who was represented by a member of the Lagos State House of Assembly representing Surulere Constituency I, Desmond Elliot, said health remained a priority to the people, including those at the grassroots.

He said President Bola Tinubu’s administration was taking health matters very seriously.
Urging the people of the island to take advantage of  the gesture, holding in three different communities in the state, Gbajabiamila urged the people to pay keen attention to their health

“The tests are done here, we are here for on-the-spot treatment when a diagnosis is being made. I think it is very laudable and it is in partnership with Lagos State Government.

“We want people to take advantage of this opportunity” Elliot said.
He said that the government would not relent in its commitment to continue to improve the standard and quality of healthcare across the country.
Also speaking, Lukmon Lawal, Special Adviser on Budget and Finance to Speaker of the House of Representatives, Tajudeen Abass, applauded Gbajabiamila for his commitment to improving access to healthcare across the country.

Lawal said Gbajabiamila, over time, had demonstrated love for the ordinary people and had impacted lives through health care, education and empowerment.

“Bringing healthcare to one of the most forgotten communities in Lagos is commendable. Without improvement in healthcare, household income and education will suffer. So anytime, any day, we are winning with qualitative healthcare.

“Today, in their thousands, the Agboyi communities are enjoying medical outreach.
“Tomorrow, we will be at Primary Health Centre Ketu, and for Wednesday and Thursday, we will be at Ikorodu for two days.

“So, we are sending the message of Renewed Hope to all nooks and crannies of Lagos and, by extension, Nigeria,” Lawal said.

The Permanent Secretary, Lagos State Health District 2,  Dayo Lajide, commended Gbajabiamila’s gesture.
“This island is a bit hard to reach, and our people really do need these services,” Lajide said, noting that the impact of the programme was remarkable.

“It is a big deal for us because we have over 41,000 people living on this island,” she said.
She said that the state government was working to upgrade the Primary Healthcare Centre on the island.

In her remark, the Chairman, Agboyi-Keyi LCDA,  Adetola Abubakar, applauded President  Tinubu for providing leadership for ordinary Nigerians.

Describing Gbajabiamila’s health intervention as special and apt, Abubakar thanked him for touching lives.
“Every aspect of our national life is being taken care of. The

Chief of Staff, like the President, has the welfare of the citizens at heart, bringing this very important health care project to us.”
She also appreciated the management of the Lagos State Health District 2 for helping to provide people with comprehensive and quality health services, especially at the grassroots.

Aregbesola group tackles FG over Osun LG allocations

Omoluabi Progressives, a group loyal to former Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregbesola, has accused the Federal Government of unlawfully releasing local government allocations in Osun State to what it described as “illegal” council chairmen loyal to the All Progressives Congress.

The group, in a statement on Monday, warned the chairmen elected during the October 15, 2022 council election held under the administration of former Governor Adegboyega Oyetola, against spending the six months’ allocation recently released to them.

The chairman of the group, Mr. Isha Adesiji, said the release of the funds—allegedly paid into accounts belonging to persons not recognised by law—was “a gross violation of financial regulations” and an attempt by the APC-led Federal Government to convert Osun’s public resources into a political war chest.

“Government allocations cannot be paid directly or indirectly into any individual’s account. Doing so amounts to an egregious violation of financial procedures which the ICPC should urgently investigate,” Adesiji said at a press briefing in Osogbo.

“The so-called YES OR NO illegal chairmen must not touch the money. The Federal Government must stop treating Osun people’s resources as the APC’s political war fund.”

Adesiji alleged that the FG, instead of respecting court rulings and upholding due process, was “starving duly elected local government executives” produced by the Peoples Democratic Party administration of Governor Ademola Adeleke while empowering a “disbanded” set of chairmen reinstated by a controversial appellate judgment.

“This unconscionable act amounts to a declaration of war against the Nigerian Constitution and against the people of Osun State. It sets a dangerous precedent where the Federal Government disregards valid court judgments to entrench its party’s rejected cronies in power,” he said.

The Omoluabi Progressives urged professional bodies, civil society groups, and labour unions to resist what it called the Federal Government’s “creeping authoritarianism,” saying the issue went beyond partisan politics and touched on constitutional integrity.

But in a swift reaction, the Osun State chapter of the APC dismissed the group’s position as “belated and attention-seeking.”

The Osun APC  spokesperson, Kola Olabisi, accused the Aregbesola-backed group of siding with the PDP and misrepresenting the February 10, 2025 Court of Appeal judgment which, according to the APC, reinstated the party’s chairmen and councillors.

“It would be pertinent for discerning minds to ask if those driving the affairs of Omoluabi Progressives have just woken up from their slumber,” Olabisi said in a statement.

“Their tirade is not only stale but exposes their bias and desperation to remain relevant.”

Olabisi also challenged the Aregbesola group’s authority to interpret court judgments, urging it to focus on reviving the African Democratic Congress—under which Aregbesola serves as National Secretary—rather than “dabbling in issues that do not concern it.”

Checkpoint Chaos: Seme Customs Declares War on Extortion Rackets Choking Lagos-Abidjan Trade Route

TRANS-BORDER TRADE: Police, Immigration, Others Maintain 400 Illegal Checkpoints, Extort Commuters Along Mile 2 -Seme Border
The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), Seme Command, has vowed to crack down on rampant illegal checkpoints along the Lagos-Abidjan ECOWAS trade corridor, which have been crippling regional commerce and damaging Nigeria’s international image.
Customs Area Controller, Seme Command, Comptroller Wale Adenuga,
at a high level stakeholders meeting at the Command on Monday,
condemned the proliferation of unauthorised roadblocks, describing them as a “national embarrassment” that stifles legitimate trade and undermines Nigeria’s competitiveness.
“We are going to work, and we will make Seme corridor road a place of sanity”, Adenuga declared. He exposed how multiple illegal roadblocks have turned a vital trade artery into a nightmare for cross-border traders, tourists, and transporters. The Customs chief vowed decisive action, pledging to mobilise security agencies and border communities to eliminate the checkpoints and restore credibility to Nigeria’s border operations.
Adenuga issued a stern warning to security agencies operating outside legal checkpoints to “steer clear from the corridor”, emphasising that the Customs management has banned the activities of ‘camp boys’ on the highways. He stressed the importance of transparency and cooperation among all parties, urging honest dialogue to confront the systemic problems affecting the border axis.
“The more we facilitate legitimate trade, the better for our country. When trade thrives, crime reduces. That is the vision our Comptroller General, Adewale Adeniyi, has consistently championed – building a legacy of trade facilitation and a conducive environment for economic growth”, he stated.
The CAC also highlighted disparities between the Nigerian and Beninese border operations, noting that Benin Republic authorities maintain a more coordinated and transparent process for inspecting vehicles suspected of conveying questionable goods.
During the high-level stakeholders’ engagement, Hon. Joseph Agoro, a grassroots politician, decried the menace of unofficial camp boys allegedly hired by security operatives. He accused them of terrorising residents and travellers, calling on Customs to act swiftly to end their activities.
Representing the Nigerian Ambassador to Benin Republic, Ambassador Olukayode Aluko, the Defense Attaché, Colonel S. Yahaya, assured participants that all resolutions from the summit would be implemented without delay.
The meeting brought together a broad spectrum of stakeholders, including freight forwarders, traditional rulers, and representatives of the Nigerian Army, National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), and Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS). Participants shared operational challenges affecting their agencies within the Badagry–Seme corridor and expressed support for Customs’ reform efforts.
As the Seme Command intensifies its campaign, expectations remain high that the long-troubled Lagos-Abidjan corridor could soon regain its status as a model of efficient trade facilitation and regional cooperation.
PH road, Okpara auditorium commissioning: Abians hail Gov Otti’s masterstroke

Picture: PortHarcourt road: Some years ago this major road was a sorry sight.

Abia state indigines were highly elated last Friday when PortHarcourt road and several other roads in the state were commissioned by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Also commissioned was the remodelled and retrofitted Dr Michael Auditorium in Umuahia.
While Abians celebrate Governor Otti for that great feat, the only people sulking are the Peoples Democratic Party ( PDP) and other never-do-wells who do not wish the state well. The PDP has remained a bitter but fragmented party since Otti trounced them at the polls in 2023.
But away from that bitterness and bellyaching, Abians are highly excited about the new roads because Governor Otti practically took Aba from the gutters and has fixed almost all the strategic roads. He has also done the same with most roads across the state. 2 years ago, before Otti, Abia was an eyesore, supervised by PDP, a party known for profligacy and mediocrity in the state.
After the commissioning, most Abians took to X to congratulate Governor Otti.
Fortis1o wrote, “My able governor, you are a blessing to Abia State. Many of us will lay down our lives to ensure you complete the good works you have started in Abia State.
Warning detractors, he said, “Let this serve as a warning to the detractors of Abia state working from within. We will not tolerate the betrayal of our homeland.
NgozifireverF responded, “Thank you, Governor @alexottiofr, keep up the good work, humanity will remember you! God bless our indefatigable governor Alex Chioma Otti.
Simonchigozie2 said, Congratulations, sir, on these achievements. Thank you for your visionary leadership sir. You are a blessing to Abia State. Keep it up, our able Governor.
Sparkchain.Ai wrote, “Thank you for the excellent work done on Port Harcourt road however, Ohanku road should have been dualised as that is a major road which traders use and the road leads to different destinations
Just my humble opinion though.

Akonuche_001 said, “As someone who was born and raised in Aba, I’m really happy to learn that Port Harcourt Road is on the list of roads that have been commissioned. I remember how bad the road was when I was a child and how past governments had abandoned it.

Thank you for coming to the rescue of Abia state. The people of Abia are very happy to have you as their Governor. Your good work is showing, and the people in Nigeria are feeling it. Keep it up, Sir. God bless you.
@Blossom4Good, said, “Well done, Sir. I am pleased that Tinubu didn’t come in person. May GOD continue to strengthen you and give you wisdom, knowledge, and understanding to continue to govern Abia state.
Dr Otti, on Saturday, on his X handle wrote, Yesterday, we had the profound honour of hosting the President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR. He was ably represented by the Honourable Minister of Works, His Excellency Engr David Umahi FNSE.
The day commenced in Umuahia with the official commissioning of the newly remodelled and retrofitted Michael Okpara Auditorium, now outfitted with state-of-the-art facilities that reflect the aspirations of our people. From there, we proceeded to Aba, where seven strategic roads were formally opened for public use. These include Gabriel Nwosu Street, Nkoro Street, Umuatako Road, Pepple’s Road, Ndoki Road, Ohanku Road, and Port Harcourt Road.
We sincerely appreciate Mr President’s unwavering commitment to the security, economic revitalisation, and inclusive governance of Abia State. His reform agenda, though demanding, is already unlocking new pathways for development across the federation. With sustained collaboration and resilience, we are confident that the future holds even greater promise for our people.
Special thanks to our esteemed guests and distinguished political leaders, who honoured us with their presence, and to Julius Berger Nigeria Plc for delivering Port Harcourt Road in record time. Our appreciation equally goes to the Honourable Commissioner for Works, his dedicated team, and our other partners whose collective efforts have helped transform the infrastructure landscape of Aba.
Most importantly, we thank the good people of Enyimba who turned out in their thousands to welcome Mr. President. Your warmth, energy, and unity made the day truly remarkable.
As a mark of this heartfelt gratitude, the Council of Traditional Rulers of Abia State conferred on Mr. President the revered title of Udo Kpu Enyi I of Abia State, a symbol of peace, strength, and enduring friendship with Ndi Abia.
