Nigeria’s COVID-19 cases rise by 120 to 59,465

Nigeria has recorded 120 new cases of COVID-19, bringing to 59,465 the number of confirmed cases in the country.

Announcing this yesterday, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) said Rivers recorded 65 new cases; Federal Capital Territory (FCT),12; Ogun, nine; Katsina, eight; Anambra, seven; Bauchi and Oyo, five each; Nasarawa, three; Kaduna, two; while Kwara, Taraba, Delta and Imo recorded one each.

It said: “So far. Nigeria has recorded 59,465 confirmed cases of COVID-19. 50,951 patients have been discharged, while 1,113 persons have died.”
