Her decamping is coming amidst serious grapevine that the APC is planning to give automatic ticket to serving national assembly members to pacify certain entrenched interests.

Analysts believe that the APC has shot itself on the foot by this ‘uncalulated move,’ which is likely cost them popular votes.

For Isuikwuato/Umunneochi constituency, there is a groundswell that the incumbent House of Reps member, Dr Nkeiru Onyejeocha has overstayed and should give way for fresh minds.

Dr Onyinye said that although Dr Onyejeocha has performed, she should allow fresh minds to take over to give the constituen cy quality representation.

She was formally received into the party by APGA LGA executives and stakeholders.
