APGA: Dr Onyinye Rufus-OBI signs peace accord with other aspirants

One of the high points of yesterday meeting of all APGA aspirants in Abia state was the signing of peace accord among the contestants even as the party’s primaries is about to start in earnest.

The scheduled primaries starts with the state house of assembly on May 24, 2022, House of Representatives, May 27, 2022, Senate, May 28, 2022 and the Governorship, May 29, 2022.

APGA primaries is gaining momentum as the hitherto not too known party has risen to become the party of the moment in the state.

Again the entry of Professor Greg Ibe as a governorship aspirant and Dr Onyinye Kay Rufus-OBI for the House of Representatives is creating waves.

While Professor Ibe looks set to upset the apple cart in the guber race, Dr Onyinye Rufus-OBI was a Frontline aspirant in the APC before she decamped to APGA.

Dr Onyinye is regarded as a crowd puller, consensus builder, and interest articulator. She is bringing this to the table of APGA

She is the rave of the moment now among all the contestants for Isuikwuato/Umunneochi constituency across all the political parties.

Analysts generally believe she will win convincingly because of her credentials.

APGA is reaping from the crisis ravaging other parties in the state at the moment.

The party is peaceful and obviously well coordinated.

It is believed that the peace accord amongst the aspirants will further improve the glowing record of the party.
