Chief Kestin Pondi, the Managing Director of Tantita Security Services Ltd has fulfilled his promise made to a bassist, Mr Simeon Djagbo in Warri about a month ago.
According to reliable sources, the Tantita managing director made the promise to give Djagbo a house at a concert in Warri tagged “RATATA FIESTA, THE JAMBOREE EDITION”, held at Dy Events Place and Lounge by TJ HAYS.
He said that the concert saw a lot of top-notch personalities who gathered to celebrate the unprecedented event.
The bungalow which contains a 3-bedroom flat, self-contained with a bed-sitter was presented to the beneficiary in the Oil City of Warri.
“Djagbo has no fingers but is a top-notch player of the guitar, and how he does it remains very heartbreaking.
“He was playing the guitar with so much passion and enthusiasm on stage, and a lot of people were attracted to him including the MD of Tantita Security who could not withhold his excitement and was triggered by his humanistic morale to promise him a house, the source said.
The source pointed out that the most interesting part was that Pondi announced a 6-month duration at the concert to fulfill the promise but the fulfillment came far earlier than expected; just a month from the day he publicly made the promise.
The source noted that a lot of accolades had been showered on GOC Tompolo and the Pondis for their endless show of love to the needy and their beautiful heart of humanity towards those around them daily.
TJ Hays who is popularly known as King Ratata could not hide his happiness as he continued to pray for Chief Pondi and Tompolo for their immense support to the entertainment industry in general; cutting across musicians, comedians, traditional story-tellers, actors, and actresses.
Another highlight at the concert was when High Chief Pondi also gifted the RATATA MASTER 10 thousand US dollars cash to encourage him for his efforts to make his marks in entertainment.
“Their good heart of giving is immeasurable. I am happy they say it and they do it, it’s not easy to make promises and fulfill them but these gentlemen make promises and they came to pass, I’m loyal to these great men”, TJ HAYS said in happiness.
Djagbo in video clips that surfaced on the internet was seen dancing, jubilating, and thanking God for the last-minute miracle in 2023, as they would always say, “It’s not finished until it’s finished, I pray and God Almighty answers my prayers.”
He prayed God Almighty would bless TJ, and Hays for finding him worthy to be among his band, he’s my king as always.
“Tompolo and Chief Pondi are the champions. I don’t have much to say but all I know is that God Almighty will guard and protect them in all their endeavors in life because you are my superheroes”, he added.
